We make games about people caught inside larger systems—told through tactile mechanics, expressive characters, and choices that stay with you.
Our first title, Red Reel, turns a simple film shop into a daily struggle between safety, profit, conscience, and family.

Run a film shop in a fictional communist dystopia, where every customer, every title, and every decision can become evidence.
Some films are legal and safe to sell. Others are forbidden western titles that bring far more money—and far more danger. When the state bans a film without warning, you decide whether to destroy it and take the loss, or hide it and risk punishment.
At closing time, the pressure follows you home. Rent, food, heating, and family needs still have to be paid. Safety may not earn enough. Risk may keep your family alive.
“The state remembers every transaction.”
Play safely and struggle to support your family—or take forbidden deals and give the state a reason to watch you.
STATE APPROVED
UNSANCTIONED
Customers arrive with different personalities, motives, and requests. Some want a harmless drama. Some know exactly how to ask for forbidden cinema. Some may be informers.
Every system feeds the same central question: what are you willing to risk to make it through another day?
Operate a small shop under constant state censorship.
Balance safe state-approved titles against forbidden western cinema.
React when a film becomes illegal overnight—without warning.
Choose what happens to risky stock before an inspection.
Read each request carefully. Some customers may be testing you.
Take your earnings home and decide which needs can still be met.
Manage what the public thinks and what the state believes.
Improve the store as your business—and your risk—grows.
Gameplay, interface, and character work from the current build.

Red Reel is actively being built. Visuals, dialogue, UI, characters, and systems may change before release. Follow the project to see the shop evolve.
